Summary

Assumes responsibility for the technical and development support within the assigned department

Essential Duties

  • Provides the highest level of technical support for individuals within Division/Department
  • Provides the highest level of professional development for individuals within the Division/Department
  • Reviews, analyzes, and recommends new and enhanced processes, systems, and applications
  • Writes and implements files/databases/systems for departments to facilitate planning and decision-making
  • Protects integrity of information for accurate statistical and informational data
  • Maintains required security measures on all systems and networks
  • Maintains current knowledge of the latest technology in computer applications, i.e., hardware and software developments
  • Ensures all training materials are continuously updated
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator

Required Education

Associate's Degree in a related field or In lieu of degree, will consider 2 years of related technology experience per year of college (4 years)

Certification/Licensure

None required

Experience Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience with technology support and integration required; Experience in a K-12 learning environment is preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Familiarity with State and local Board rules and regulations
  • Working knowledge of current versions of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and iOS
  • Conceptual thinking, design, implementation, and troubleshooting of mobile application technology
  • Experience in training to internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
